Make Changing out your Hot Tub or Swim Spa Diverter valves a breeze with our How To Guide

Please Note: The way we get them sent from the Factory will have the plumbing attached - You will not use this part unless the plumbing pvc is broken(very rare)! Your diverter may look different than the one pictured, The steps are still the same. 

Step 1 - On part sent 

Pull off Grey Cap that says “Flow” or “On/Off” (may be a black cap)

Unscrew with your hand the clear (sometimes White) threaded ring

Pull out internal piece, If a diverter it will be a square stem attached to a cylinder, If air control it will be a small two piece air valve

Step 2 - On Hot Tub / Swim Spa 

Repeat Step 1 on the Diverter that is needing to be replaced. 

Step 3- Installing new part                            

Drop in Internal Piece down the PVC pipe (If you are replacing air valve, you have to line up the notches on the side for it to fit)

Make sure there is a clear gasket on the PVC attached to the spa

With you hard, Screw on the clear (sometimes White) threaded ring

Pop the Cap that says “Flow” or “On/Off” (may be a black cap) back onto the spa
